Ductless, mini-split heat pumps are room-sized, air source heat pumps that also are very efficient and can be deployed to provide air conditioning and supplemental heating for one or a couple rooms. Bangor Hydro offers rebates on these heat pump systems to encourage their deployment. This will help reduce our customer's reliance on oil or gas for heating, and provide cooling in the same package. We also offer a discounted heating rate for customers who install electric fueled heating systems that can heat at least 50% of the home. For more information, click on the links below.
